AUDIO: whiteout 'Liquid Paper' [2001]

(recovered by Warpath)

These are some of the earliest whiteout (still typed out as "WhiteOut" - gross - AND still aka "K-o$$" - gross-er - at that point) recordings in existence. I would say its half-album, half-high-as-shit-freestyling-nonsense-compilation. (And, even the part that's "half-album" is nonsense, but, it exists, nonetheless.) Enjoy...or don't. You probably won't. I certainly don't.

NOTE: This IS MY work, but, its so rare that even I don't have the tracklisting - if there ever was one. (I was 16-17-years-old and perpetually high as shit.)

AUDIO: whiteout - Rich Quick Diss [2002]

(whiteout x Rich Quick x Apple Martini x Charlie Blaze, December 31, 2010, Philadelphia, PA, USA)

This is how crazy life is and why, to me, GOD must exist:

In 2002, back when I first started this Hip-Hop thing (as whiteout - typed out as "WhiteOut" back then - anyway, as I went by the name "K-o$$" for a year or two previously), I used to post rhymes and participate in text battles in the MC Board on ughh.com. There was this dude "Richie Quick" who seriously had it in for me and my crew - the now defunct Fantastik 4 (myself, Marvelous, Holladay and A-Boy.) Again, this was over a decade ago, so, a lot of the specifics are lost (yeah...we can blame drugs for that - for the most part, anyway - I also have a pretty terrible memory), even though this "Richie Quick" character probably still has every line of text stored in his memory banks. I'm not going to say who started it, because I seriously don't remember, but, we would post rhymes (text only - no audio yet) dissing each other and other members of the board. Eventually, this beef made it's way to the MC Audio Board, where I released my first audio diss towards "Richie Quick" and other members of the board who had his back, or at least didn't have my/our back. Here is the track (recorded over ONYX's "Hold Up" instrumental), which, according to the .mp3 file info, was released on ‎Saturday, ‎June ‎29, ‎2002:

The significance of all this is that, today, "Richie Quick", now known just as Rich Quick, is one of my best friends and someone I consider my brother. When I was in rehab in Fall 2006, I had a very limited amount of telephone access, but, the person I probably talked to more than anyone was Rich Quick - he and another person I met on the internet, whom I now also consider my brother, Sinister. (There's a lot more history in between 2002 and then, but, Rich can tell you about it more than I can.) A few years ago (late 2009/early 2010-ish), he even gave me the title of being his Promotions Manager. Then, when it came time for New Year's Eve 2010, I Tweeted something along the lines of, "I should go to Philly and hang out with Rich and the team." (This "team", btw, I coined as #TeamSuperTeam, a name we still roll with today.) Anyway, Jodie, half of Rich's management team, along with Ccelli,  casually Tweeted back something like, "Why don't you?" The rest is history.

One more thing: To quote Jason Mewes' character from 'Jay And Silent Bob Strike Back' - "What the fuck is the internet?"

NOTE: There is A LOT more to this story than what appears in this post. Maybe I'll find the time to share the rest of it one day - or maybe VH1 will.
